A studio application of Plotagon was launched in October 2017. In late 2017, a set of 2 default new voices Rod & Karen were launched. Plotagon Education is a school-safe version of Plotagon featuring dedicated privacy, security, content moderation and group management features.
In late October 2016, Plotagon Education was officially launched. In early 2015, Plotagon made a YouTube Channel for upcoming notices in the app. It returned on Google Play on November 15, 2014. In October 2013, the software was revamped, and it changed realistic characters to more cartoon-like versions, and at the same time, it was removed. The early beta version of Plotagon was released in mid 2012-2013. Plotagon AB was founded in 2010 by Filip Grufman.
